Trustee

Haydn was elected as a Trustee in the 2020 elections.  

Haydn was appointed by the Maori Land Court as a Trustee of the Trust on the 23 April 2021.  Refer to Maori Land Court minute 431 Aotea MB 189.

Haydn is a descendant of Noho Tupuhi and Colleen Korenga Healey.

He has had 65 years of living in New Plymouth and is a respected kaumatua of Ngati Te Whiti.

While Haydn is now retired, he has previously been involved in office and administration.

Haydn is a fluent Te Reo speaker having achieved five levels of NZQA Te Reo Maori.  

Haydn’s goals are to maintain the heritage and culture of Ngati Te Whiti and to ensure that these are sustainable for future generations.
